All illustrations, images and pattern designs that I, Karolina Kierat, have created for this web site and/or illustrations that I have been commissioned for are protected from misappropriation, misuse, and unauthorized use by copyright law and international copyright treaties, as well as other laws and treaties that uphold intellectual property rights. I retain the right to use any illustration that has been commissioned to promote my work. Promotion includes the right to use these illustrations on social media, and to make these illustrations available to others on a non-commercial basis as examples of my work. I will not accept payment from anyone to whom I have provided these commissioned illustrations as examples of my work. Anyone using any of my illustrations must obtain my permission in advance and if the illustration is used for commercial purposes must have paid me an agreed upon fee before using any illustration. Any illustration used in any way must contain a credit indicating that Karolina Kierat is the author. Anyone granted permission to use any of my illustrations is subject to these policies.

Shipping

I ship primarily using Polish Mail to locations in Poland for which there is a shipping and handling charge included in the price. International orders are shipped by Polish Mail in collaboration with local mail services in other countries, charge is included. Shipping and handling charges are based on current rates and fees. Depending on the size and nature of a particular order, an alternate shipping method may be required. The customer is responsible for alternate shipping and packaging fees.

Return Policy

I am unable to offer refunds or returns of original drawings or prints as many of my products are time-sensitive and seasonal and very few units are produced of each product. In addition, paper products are very fragile and do not travel well.

In terms of silk scarves all sales are final, however if your scarf arrives and there is a flaw, email a photo and your order number to karolinakierat@gmail.com and I will issue a replacement. Returned items must be in the original condition they arrived in with any boxes or labels still intact. Please contact us as soon as possible once you receive your item if you wish to return your item. Goods must arrive within the 14 days to be eligible for a refund or exchange.

My scarves are printed on demand and while the effects of Covid-19 persist, I can only send through regular mail. Once your item has been shipped and reaches the destination country it is in the hands of the mail carrier. I cannot guarantee delivery times and tracking until the shipping situation around the world improves.
