Darling Magazine Issue 19 illustration

I was asked to prepare an illustration for an article "46 dresses" in one week and decided to draw 46 different girls in colourful dresses and made a pattern of them. The girls are running and looking feminine and powerful. I incorporated hummingbirds in my illustration as a metaphor of colour and freedom. According to the magazine's request I made my girls of diverse looks and shapes. The article is about an undertaking supporting women and I am proud I was given a chance to contribute.
